- Natalie, what is a new-generation tissue modulator, and how does it work in aesthetic medicine?

New-generation tissue modulators in aesthetic medicine are innovative injectable treatments designed to support cellular skin regeneration, restore elasticity and density, and improve overall skin texture and quality.

Products such as Poly-N Strong belong to the group of polynucleotide-based biostimulators. They work by activating fibroblasts and enhancing metabolic processes within the skin. As a result, the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and endogenous hyaluronic acid is stimulated, leading to gradual restoration of the dermal structure.

   Poly-N Strong is an injectable biostimulator whose main active component is polynucleotides (PN) at a concentration of 25 mg/ml. The product is presented in the form of a polynucleotide gel and is designed to support skin regeneration and biostimulation.

• Activation of fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing structural proteins in the skin

- In your opinion, are polynucleotides and other regenerative factors becoming increasingly important in modern aesthetic medicine, and why are they gaining such attention in therapeutic protocols?

   Yes, I agree with this view. In modern aesthetic medicine, treatment is no longer focused solely on restoring volume, but increasingly on skin regeneration and biostimulation.

Both patients and specialists are now more interested in approaches that not only provide visible correction, but also improve the biological condition and health of the skin.

Polynucleotides and various growth factors play a particularly important role in this context, as they stimulate fibroblasts and promote the synthesis of collagen and elastin. As a result, the skin becomes more elastic, denser, and overall healthier in quality.

- In which clinical situations would you recommend Poly-N Strong to your colleagues and to patients?

    I would recommend Poly-N Strong to my colleagues in cases where the main goal of treatment is true skin regeneration and improvement of skin quality, rather than simply correcting volume.

Typically, a course of 2–4 procedures is recommended, performed at 28-day intervals, followed by maintenance treatments to help preserve the achieved results.

From the patient’s perspective, Poly-N Strong is ideal for skin that requires regeneration, has lost elasticity, appears lax, dehydrated, or dull, or shows early fine lines.
The treatment helps restore the skin’s structure and provides natural-looking, gradual results by stimulating the skin’s own regenerative processes.
